I only have great things to say about Scott and the Schlegel Law Group!! He represented me for my long-distance custody battle and although I was almost 2,000miles away their support was always a reassuring call text or email away. Their office clerk was always available patient and helpful! William Cintron was employed there during my case and we had just the absolute sweetest! Scott is both determined and realistic. I love that he never sugar-coated anything. There are not enough positive things to say about Scott Schlegel. I received my divorce papers right around Christmas time which as you can imagine how tough this might be especially when my now ex-wife was in Chicago with my two children at the time my 5-year-old son and 8-month-old daughter who was continuously telling me she was returning and never did. Scott and his team worked very hard for me, filing injections so that we could do everything we could for me to get my children back home. Long story short this process went on for about 3 and half years due to her refusing to return to Florida and remaining in Chicago. In the end, I was able to get as much time as I possibly could with my children remaining in Chicago for the school year. I have every Spring Break and every Summer (the entire time) I then alternate all other major holidays. I have other friends that are divorced that are living in the same state that do not get as much time sharing as I do. I am very thankful for what Scott and his team were able to do for me and all of the time he was able to get for me. Do not hesitate to let Scott and his team take care of you, you will not regret it.

Today has been a phenomenal day because it concludes what has been a 2-year process for time-sharing with my daughter. The opposing party in case wanted to give me as minimal time as possible and penalize me by over-inflating my income numbers. Scott and his team were able to successfully help me get almost 50/50 time sharing with my daughter and was able to properly demonstrate my numbers which resulted in a fair amount due for child support and almost equal time sharing. To be honest, from the beginning, I was very nervous throughout the entire process, but my best advice after completing this is to just simply trust Scott and his team! He has a very methodical process and does everything he does for an exact reason. A valuable piece of information I can give to prospective clients is to know exactly what you want as a resolution and communicate that to Scott clearly. Everything else he does after that is to help best articulate your story, desires, and facts. In conclusion, it worked out better than I imagined. Both parties in my case equally support the child and I am much happier that I get the time that I have been pursuing.

I retained Scott Schlegel to represent me in an injunction case. He was then able to use the situation to our advantage and come up with a mutually accepted agreement to remedy the situation as well as many family law issues I had issues with said individual.

Scott Schlegel was everything I could have hoped for in my custody case. He was aggressive in fighting for the equal time my child deserves with his father. Scott was honest with every situation that arose, and did not hesitate to appeal a terrible ruling.
